Nokia 701 - the brightest screen in the world


Here comes the new Nokia 701 offering an excellent graphics performance with a refreshed UI. The Nokia 701 is designed with the brightest screen the world ever seen and also offers a pretty good battery life. Like the other two devices, Nokia 701 is also powered with 1Ghz processor and runs on Symbian Belle OS. The device boasts with 3.5-inch IPS LCD display with ClearBlack technology, creating a great combination of excellent brightness and contrast. The screen emits the highest NIT's and titled to be the brightest smartphone screen to date. The screen covered with Corning® Gorilla® Glass which is constant and sturdier.

Nokia 701 sports an 8.0 Megapixel full focus camera with a dual-LED flash and also a front facing camera. The device holds an 8GB of user memory and with a provision of external memory slot which allows a 32GB MicroSD card. This smartphone comes with all essential functionality including 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS and NFC. The standard battery comes along with the device can fetch up to 17 hours of talktime over GSM or up to 550 hours on standby (8.8/504h over 3G).

The Nokia 701 comes in steel dark, silver light, amethyst violet, and white variations. It is expected to be shipped in the third quarter of 2011 for EUR 290 before local taxes and operator subsidies

The new Nokia 700 is the finest design comes with 110 x 50.7 x 9.7mm in size and weighs 96 grams which better suits every pocket. Though the device looks skinny, it is well versed and power packed to be a modern smartphone. Nokia 700 offers a pentaband radio and transfers 3G data up to HSUPA level. The device powered with 1Ghz processor and comes with 2GB of user memory. Nokia 700 incorporates Bluetooth, FM radio, Wi-Fi and GPS. The device comes with a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and full focus. The external memory slot can accommodate a MicroSD card up to 32GB. The device compromised with NFC communication for payments and file transfers. Nokia claims that the device is the greenest phone from the company till the date. They says, the device is constructed with bio-plastics, recycled plastics and recycled metals and it’s free of pollutants like PVC, RFR and BFR.  The AMOLED screen coupled with ambient light sensor and power-save mode promises to be environmental friendly and the device can be recycled 100% at any time.

The Nokia 700 is expected to be priced around EUR 270 without local taxes or operator subsidies. It will be made available in grey, silver/white, coral red, peacock blue and purple varieties starting from third quarter of 2011.


Nokia 600 - Proud and Loud

Nokia 600 is a smartphone designed to be an entertainment hub for the users. The device comes with a 3.2 inch touchscreen AMOLED display and runs on latest version of Symbian OS Belle. Nokia claims the device as the loudest smartphone ever offered by the company till date. The loudspeaker inside, it is rated at Window-rattling 106 phon (1 phon is equal to 1 dBSPL at a frequency of 1 kHz). Nokia 600 smartphone powered by 1Ghz processor and 2GB of internal memory. The device comes with an external memory slot with a threshold of 32GB. This smartphone sports a 5 Megapixel camera with flash faced on the rear-side. The camera is capable of recording videos at 720p HD quality.

Nokia 600 comes with a pentaband radio, and supports 3G data rates up to HSUPA standards. The device also comes with the latest NFC (Near Field Communication) which is a future proof addition. It can also be connected to the latest Nokia 360° speakers and share pictures to other devices. To make it deal with funda it comes with NFC-enabled versions of Angry Birds and Fruit Ninja included in the package. The device battery will last for up to 15 hours talk-time on GSM, and up to 550 hours in standby.

Nokia 600 will be made available in four colors black, white, pink and lime starting from the third quarter of 2011. It is expected to be priced around EUR 180 before taxes and operator subsidies.
